The Tutu project

This video tells a great human interest story about how one man decided to support his wife during her breast cancer treatment.  But I think the real message for all of us is that life is too short to worry about being yourself and putting yourself out there, warts and all, when the cause is right.  I don’t think that Bob Carey is going to get many calls from modeling agencies, although, on the other hand, I wouldn’t bet against it either.  His fearless expression of genuine love for his wife overshadowed the faux stereotype that one needs to be fit and tanned to show yourself on screen.  There are thousands, maybe millions by now who have been moved by his cheeky creativity, and have been inspired to be a more robust and honest version of who they are, and what they value.  I know I am.
